PRINCIPAL ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER - DATA CENTRES - DUBLIN
JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client have developed into an international multi-disciplinary
consultancy operating from over * locations
across the globe.
Due to increased workload, they are seeking to appoint a Senior
Electrical Design Engineer to take up a principal role with Dublin
team
As part of our established team of expert engineers, and working
closely with colleagues of various disciplines, you will prepare both
scheme and detailed engineering designs for electrical systems (MV,
LV, essential power / back-up power, electrical building services
including life safety services, etc) for major data centre and other
critical systems projects.
The role will involve working mostly on data centre projects ranging
from plant upgrades through to *MW+ hyperscale
projects.
REQUIREMENTS
Degree level (minimum level 8) in Electrical Engineering or Building
Services Engineering (MEng or BEng or equivalent)
Chartered Engineer desired, if not currently, you will be supported
towards Chartership.
Proven track record in the concept design and delivery of multiple
largescale critical infrastructure projects, preferably in a
datacentre / critical systems and /or other mission critical context
Proven experience of detailed coordination with other design
disciplines, well-versed in theory behind and use of relevant design
software including Amtech, ETAPS or SKM power systems analysis
software.
Proven ability in producing schematic diagrams, fault and
discrimination studies, preparing specifications and project reports,
carrying out site inspections and surveys, and detail design
development, and crucially - you have a passion for accurate design of
electrical systems.
A collaborative leader and role model; sharing knowledge, experience
and expertise, whilst contributing to the development of a robust,
diverse and motivated team
A natural flair for developing a creative team environment; driving
new innovations and efficiencies that will maximise delivery methods
and performance to its greatest potential
Able to build client rapport in an advisory capacity, whilst
broadening relationships and identifying new project and service
opportunities
A full awareness of emerging trends, developing technologies and
evolving best practices to maintain position at the forefront of the
market

Salary € *k - € *k
